Welcome to Pat's Baby Corner, thank you for viewing my new web site.
My name is Patricia and I live in Ashton, Ontario, Canada.
I was born and raised in the UK and moved to Canada in the late 80's. I first got interested in crafts while
I was at school, and took a two-year dressmaking course. When I left school I worked for a number of companies
but my passion was still with crafts. I had the opportunity to work part time for a knitwear designer; my job was
to make her patterns work before they were published. During the time I was doing this I was also raising a
family which included a number of foster children ranging in ages from newborn to 16 years old. This was the time
when I started coming up with ideas for making my job easier and where some of my designs come from. When we
moved to Canada I started my own craft business. It began fairly small, with shows on the odd weekend,
because I had full time employment during the week.
Over the last few years the small craft business has taken over my life. I now do craft
shows all over Ontario and for weeks at a time. I go mainly to shopping centers and malls. You can always
tell when I am in your town just by looking in the parking lots. If you see a group of trailers, I am most likely
to be there with the group of crafters I travel with.
My next business step is this web site and with the help of clovercreations.com it is up and running. We are
still working on it and will be updating it on a regular basis.
